Bookkeeper Location:

New Haven, CT (Onsite) Salary:

$18-$25 per hour

Key Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper

Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

Verify, post, and reconcile financial transactions and receipts

Assist with bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance

Process and monitor incoming and outgoing payments

Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy of financial information

Support month-end accounting activities and reporting

Assist with additional accounting and administrative duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications of the Bookkeeper

1+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred

Strong understanding of basic accounting principles

Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent data entry and problem-solving abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
