Job Summary Responsible for conducting and coordinating distribution line training, procuring, inspecting and testing tools and equipment, conducting investigations and answering customer complaints. *Position is posted at multiple levels, and the selected individual will be brought in at the level appropriate based on education and experience. Job Description What you’ll do: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Investigate damage complaints and prepare reports detailing findings and make recommendations to resolve complaints. *The damage complaints may include but not be limited to: service quality, high or low voltage, landscape damage caused by company equipment or personnel, etc. Assist with pre-checking jobs, customer contacts, work with stores, distribution crews and applicable supervision to secure and provide the necessary tools and equipment for the crew personnel. Support technical training needs when requested and coordinate training with technical trainers if needed. Conduct distribution line training as needed. Inspect and test distribution line tools and equipment. Promote and enforce the Company's Accident Prevention, Safety and Health Programs, and assist line crews on jobs as required for work area protection and ground worker assistance. Support service restoration activities and assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Work Experience requirement listed below: Minimumof 5 years' experience in distribution line or distribution engineering, or equivalent related experience, including good working knowledge of distribution operations activities. Minimum Requirements for Distribution Line Coordinator Sr. (SG 07): Education requirements are listed below: High schooldiploma or GED. Work Experience requirement listed below: Minimum of 7 years' experience in distribution line or distribution engineering, or equivalent related experience, including good working knowledge of distribution operations activities. Minimum Requirements for Distribution Line CoordinatorPrinc. (SG 08): Education requirements are listed below: High school diploma or GED. Work Experience requirement listed below: Minimum of 10 years' experience in distribution line or distribution engineering, or equivalent related experience (to include previous supervisory experience), including good working knowledge of distribution operations activities. Other requirements: Must possess interpersonal skills necessary to deal with internal and external customers in a professional manner. Valid State Driver’s license. Availability and flexibility to assist with storm restoration locally and within other markets. What you’ll get: Distribution Line Coordinator (SG 06): Starting pay between $74,551-$93,189 Distribution Line Coordinator Sr. (SG 07): Starting pay between $87,633-$109,544 Distribution Line Coordinator Princ.
