/ppITA is seeking a summer intern to join our Human Resources team at our headquarters in Newport News, Virginia.
/ph3Responsibilities/h3pITA is hiring a summer intern to provide assistance and complete projects in our Human Resources department.
/ppInterns will be responsible for the following duties:/pulliHelp maintain employee records, update HR databases, and assist with employee benefits administration.
/liliSupport the onboarding process by preparing new hire documentation and helping new employees settle into their roles.
/liliAssist in ensuring that the company is compliant with labor laws and internal policies.
Help maintain proper HR documentation.
/liliAssist in the coordination of training sessions, workshops, and employee development programs.
/liliCollaborate on various HR projects, such as performance management, compensation analysis, and HR technology improvements.
/liliWorking on various projects as part of a team, with the potential for briefing senior leadership/liliMaking recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency/liliAdministrative support such as answering the phone, scanning, filing, copying, etc.
/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliPursuing a Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, communications, psychology, or a related field.
/liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with a team/liliDemonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills/liliStrong organizational skills and strong attention to detail/liliAbility to prioritize tasks and to work independently when appropriate/liliProficient with Microsoft Office Suite/li/ulh3Benefit and Compensation Transparency/h3pITA International proudly complies with all federal and state benefit and pay transparency laws.
