Supermarket Cashier – Entry Level Position US, New York

Job Responsibilities:

Greet customers politely and professionally

Scan items and process purchases

Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions

Issue receipts, refunds, and change

Maintain a clean checkout area

Assist customers with questions and product information

Bag items properly

Count cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts

Follow company policies and safety rules

Report any issues to the supervisor

Education Requirements:

High school diploma or GED (preferred, not always required)
