Event Project Manager (Part-time)

Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of an Event Project Manager for a contract position that can be worked 100% remotely. The opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and creative individual to support the planning and execution of events that align with our brand and business goals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing details, and can work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Coordinate and manage events from concept through execution, including logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site support.

Develop and maintain event timelines, task lists, and budgets.

Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless event delivery.

Assist with venue selection, contract negotiation, and vendor sourcing.

Oversee event registration, guest communications, and post-event feedback collection.

Ensure all events comply with safety, legal, and brand standards.

Provide on-site support during events, including setup, execution, and breakdown (as needed).

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).

2 years of experience in event planning or project coordination.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Proficiency in event planning tools (e.g., Cvent, Salesforce, Jira).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends as needed.

Preferred:

Experience with virtual or hybrid event platforms.

Familiarity with budgeting and cost tracking.

Creative problem-solving and adaptability.
