Position Summary
National Pump Company is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service representative in our Zolfo Springs, Florida location.
This position plays an important role in supporting customers through order processing, quoting, customer communication, and administrative support functions.
The ideal candidate will provide professional customer service while working closely with Sales, Production, Purchasing, and other departments to ensure customer expectations and company service standards are met.
Essential Responsibilities
Assist customers via phone, email, and in person with product inquiries, order updates, and general support
Prepare quotes and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
Review customer orders for accuracy and adherence to customer agreements and pricing requirements
Maintain customer records, sales order files, and related documentation
Coordinate with internal departments to support customer requirements and order fulfillment
Enter and process RMA and warranty documentation
Monitor order status and communicate updates or issues to customers as needed
Assist with administrative and documentation support activities
Maintain accurate records within company systems and software applications
Support departmental projects and additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Previous customer service, administrative, or related experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based systems
Attention to detail and accuracy
Manufacturing or industrial experience is a plus
Technical aptitude and ability to learn pump applications preferred
