Warehouse Associate (Cold Storage)
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associates to join the team at Vesta Foodservice.
This position supports daily warehouse operations within a temperature-controlled environment, handling food products and ensuring accurate, timely order fulfillment.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in cold conditions and performing physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Lift, pull, and push boxes weighing **** pounds on a consistent basis
Load and unload food products from trucks, pallets, and conveyor systems
Accurately pick, pack, and stage customer orders for shipment
Organize inventory and maintain proper product rotation (FIFO when applicable)
Ensure all products are handled in accordance with food safety and quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including workstations and common areas
Follow all company safety procedures and cold storage handling guidelines
Work as part of a team to meet daily productivity and shipping deadlines
Report damaged goods, discrepancies, or safety concerns to supervisors immediately
Requirements:
Must wear non-slip, closed-toe shoes at all times (required)
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
Comfortable working in cold storage environments (refrigerated and/or freezer conditions)
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to communicate fluently (speak, read, & write) in Spanish and English.
Schedule:
Monday through Saturday
One variable day off during the week
Hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (overtime may be required based on business needs)
This position operates in a refrigerated and/or freezer warehouse environment.
Proper protective clothing is recommended.
Employees should be prepared for continuous physical activity and exposure to cold temperatures throughout the shift.
