As a Service Valet, you play an important role at Norm Reeves Ford. You help create a great experience for our guests while making sure their vehicles are cleaned and handled with care. Your positive attitude and attention to detail help keep guests coming back. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone motivated to start a career in the automotive service industry. Norm Reeves Ford values growth, promotes from within, and is looking for individuals who are excited to build a long-term career at a dealership.What You'll Do: Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat attitude, answers their questions, and directs them to the appropriate person or location Controls service traffic flow and parking Records customer's name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damageAssists service advisors when needed Maintains a clean and safe service drive area, free of dirt, water, leaves, snow, etc. Maintains a professional appearance Tag keys and place mirror tags in all vehicles Move vehicles to appointed parking area and ensure all windows are up and all vehicles are lockedFill in for shuttle drivers as needed Bring customers' vehicles to the front of service drive when directed Ensure customers' vehicle is free of dirt and grease from their service visit Guides vehicles through the car wash Light lifting duties when needed What You'll Need: Full time availability. You'll also need to be at least 18 years oldA valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Experience driving a range of vehicles; manual transmission a plus.
