is partnering with a well-established organization to identify a
Human Resources Generalist
to support their growing team. This is a
hybrid opportunity (3 days onsite)
offering a dynamic environment and strong exposure across multiple HR functions.
The
HR Generalist
will play a key role in supporting day-to-day human resources operations while helping drive a positive and engaging employee experience. This individual will act as a trusted partner to both employees and leadership, supporting core HR functions including recruitment,
onboarding/offboarding,
employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and HR reporting.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats.
Human Resource Generalist Requirements: Support full-cycle recruiting efforts including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and communication Partner with hiring managers to maintain accurate and up-to-date job descriptions Manage applicant tracking systems and ensure a positive candidate experienceCoordinate new hire processes including paperwork, background checks, and system access (Paychex/HRIS) Facilitate new hire orientations and ensure smooth integration into the organization Maintain onboarding documentation and identify process improvements Communicate company-wide announcements for new hiresManage employee separations including exit interviews, final documentation, and system terminations Ensure compliance with internal procedures and legal requirements Process terminations within HR systems and communicate updates internally Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits enrollment and eligibilitySupport open enrollment and life event changes Assist with 401(k) administration, education, and employee inquirie
s Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Support HR audits, policy updates, and employee handbook maintenance Maintain accurate and organized employee records Assist with compliance reporting (FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc.) Help drive company-wide HR initiatives such as safety and training programsPrepare and maintain recurring reports (OSHA, EEO-1, CA Pay Data, etc.) Ensure accuracy of employee data within HRIS systems Support audits, investigations, and compliance reviews Own and manage the company engagement calendar Coordinate employee events and internal communications Support company surveys and engagement initiatives
Human Resource Generalist Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of HR experience in a generalist or coordinator capacity Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Experience with HRIS systems (Paychex or similar) and Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail Comfortable with a temporary role
