Driver's Helper, Connecticut

We are seeking a dependable and hard-working Pool Maintenance Driver's Helper to assist lead technicians with daily pool cleaning, maintenance, and service tasks. You will ride along designated service routes, help transport equipment, clean pools, test water, and support basic repairs. This is a great entry-level position with growth potential in the pool service industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the lead technician with pool cleaning (vacuuming, skimming, brushing)

Load and unload equipment, chemicals, and supplies at each job site

Help test and adjust chemical levels under supervision

Clean skimmer baskets, pump baskets, and filter systems as directed

Keep tools and vehicle clean, organized, and stocked

Safely handle pool chemicals and follow safety protocols

Maintain accurate records of service tasks completed

Follow instructions and support efficient route completion

Provide friendly and respectful customer service when on-site

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred

Previous experience in labor, cleaning, or maintenance work is a plus

Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors, and handle physical tasks

Willingness to learn about pool equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures

Reliable transportation to report to the service hub daily

Strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and punctuality

Valid driver's license (a plus, but not always required)
