Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead daily operations at our Meineke Car Care Center in Oceanside. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong customer service skills, automotive service knowledge, and the ability to drive team performance and profitability.
The Store Manager will oversee shop operations, manage technicians and front-office staff, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and maintain high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of the automotive service center Lead, coach, and develop service advisors and technicians Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve escalated customer concerns Monitor sales goals, labor performance, and profitability metrics Ensure accurate estimates, invoicing, and workflow managementMaintain compliance with safety regulations and company procedures Recruit, train, and retain high-performing team members Oversee inventory, vendor relationships, and parts ordering Ensure the shop maintains a clean, organized, and professional environment Qualifications
1+ years of management experience in automotive repair or a related service industry Strong leadership and team-building skills Excellent communication and customer relationship abilities Understanding of automotive maintenance and repair services Experience with POS/shop management software preferredAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Skills
ASE certifications are a plus Sales and performance management experience Knowledge of automotive service estimating Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Compensation&Benefits
