Room for eventual growth.

Qualifications: Preferred Industrial Industry Experience within

steel, metal distribution, or industrial manufacturing

(familiarity with raw

metals like bar, sheet, plate, or tubing

is highly preferred). Prior experience in an

Inside Sales, Customer Service, Junior Buyer, Sourcing Assistant, or Production Planner, Order taking&Processing Orders. Comfort learning custom

ERP software

alongside proficiency in

Microsoft Outlook and general office data entry. Detail-Oriented Mindset: Proven ability to

accurately track order measurements, pricing, and technical specifications

while consistently meeting strict deadlines. Strong Communication Aptitude: Exceptional written skills for heavy email correspondence paired with a professional, friendly phone presence.

Responsibilities: Order Processing:

Efficiently field, input, and process approximately 20 inbound orders per day using a proprietary ERP system. Multi-Channel Communication:

Manage heavy email volume via Outlook (90% of correspondence) alongside phone calls and occasional walk-in clients. Cradle-to-Grave Tracking:

Oversee the entire lifecycle of your orders from initial intake through production and final shipping delivery. Inventory&Sourcing Support:

Coordinate directly with vendors and distributors to purchase or transfer materials when items are out of stock. Account Relationship Management:

Learn customer buying patterns and specific product requirements to maintain a reliable, high-service reputation.
