Southern Foodservice Management, a national contact food service company, is now looking to hire a qualified Quality Control Inspector for our FLETC Artesia location in Artesia, New Mexico.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Quality Control inspector conducts inspections on quality control and safety plans to ensure compliance with Government contract specifications and applicable regulations Inspects all phases of a variety of goods, services and operation for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards by performing on-going work for compliance with contractual provisionsEnsures all services listed on the performance requirement summary are performed in a satisfactory manner Completes areas assigned by QC Managers to be inspected (scheduled and unscheduled) and how often inspections will be accomplished Communicates deficiencies to proper persons Maintains Quality Control files, and document results of all inspectionsAbility to organize and conduct ongoing in-service training Southern Foodservice Management's Culture

Proven work experience as a Quality Control Technician Solid ability to conduct different types of inspections Hands on experience with Army Food Service operations Ability to organize skills assessment of operation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong decision-making skillsRequirements
Physical Requirements:
Strength: Lift up to 20lbs Posture: Standing 50%, walking 50% Movement of objects: Frequently Heavy lifting, Heavy Carrying, Pushing, Pulling Climbing or Balancing: Occasional Stooping: Occasional Reaching: Frequent Handling: Frequent Talking/Hearing: Frequent Seeing: Frequent Temperature Variation: FrequentTyping: Frequent
