Job Title
Duties The following are the duties of this position at the full working level. If this vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this position. Assists management with labor-management issues and grievances through the preparation of reports or responses, frequently having advance knowledge of decisions rendered and actions proposed that may result in personnel actions.Monitors, reviews, and evaluates operations and interrelationships with other functions regarding workflow, work redundancy, or systemic problems and report findings to higher level employee(s). Identifies potential and actual problems and probable causes. Researches a variety of issues, gathers pertinent statistics or information, reports findings to higher level employee, and may recommend corrective action for aspects of a program or function.Provides secretarial support to the office that includes: Establishing and maintaining the general administrative and confidential files of all sensitive material for the manager relative to employees' files and personnel actions and labor-management relations issues and grievance files. Setting up and maintaining automated and manual filing systems.Preparing requisitions and training requests. Scheduling meetings and conferences. Arranging travel. Preparing a variety of correspondence and reports using word processing software.
