Responsibilities/strong/pulliMotivate team members to achieve daily goals and KPIs./liliCoach and develop line associates to improve performance./liliSupport company standards to ensure consistency in product creation./liliUnderstand standards and make good decisions in critical situations/liliDesign and implement measurement systems to easily track and document productivity of production lines./liliPlay an active role in company lean initiatives/liliMaintain line equipment and troubleshoot mechanical problems./liliSet up lines for production orders./liliSupport corporate ethics and standards, by example, and by directive./liliSets daily, weekly, and monthly goals; measures progress and reviews with management regularly/liliAssures that the operation is compliant with the SOPs, proposed GMPs, and those procedures are adequately documented./liliSupport of and involvement in company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs and activities./liliEngage in proper use, care, and documentation of equipment and materials issued in work area./liliRecommends equipment purchases to improve operations, i.e. reduce costs, improve quality, reduce lead-times, etc./liliAll other duties as assigned and needed/li/ulpstrongRequirements/strong/pulliHigh School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred with technical training in maintenance manufacturing./liliFamiliarity with One Point Lesson Plans, Standard Work Instruction and other visual management tools./liliLean experience preferred/liliAbility to communicate effectively, in both verbal and written formats./liliMust be able to understand, speak, read and write in English in order to perform the essential functions of the job as they relate to comprehension of laws, regulations, standards, documents and other internal and external communications./liliMust have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database software./liliAbility to effectively present information to upper management, public groups, and/or boards of directors./liliAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions./liliAbility to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables./li/ulpstrongWork Conditions/strong/pulliSubject to normal warehouse and production environment./liliSubject to high noise levels where hearing protection is required and all personnel protective equipment is required./liliSubject to atmospheric conditions, such as fumes, odors, powders, dust and other particles./li/ulpNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
