About the role:
A day in the life of an HRBP includes working with Nextep’s teams to manage the client relationship, advising and consulting our clients on HR matters, and staying up to date on laws affecting HR.
Ideally, you’re an expert communicator because you’ll be advising our clients on serious matters including employee discipline, performance improvement, separations, terminations, and general employee management.
Collaborate with client leadership to develop and execute HR strategies, talent management initiatives, and workforce planning aligned with business objectives.
Utilize HR data and analytics to provide insights, trends, and recommendations for improving HR programs, employee engagement, and retention.
You’ll also be responsible for maintaining knowledge of local, state, and federal laws affecting human resources and using that expertise to educate and advise our clients.
Requirements
About you:
You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Ideally, you have a Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Human Resources or related Business field) from a four-year college or university.
You have 5+ years of human resources-related experience, training, or education.
Ideally, you have an HR certification like SHRM, or PHR
