A little about the position: The Laminator roles are responsible for utilizing fiberglass and other materials to produce high quality products. Job Summary The Laminator is responsible for ensuring proper material application and finish quality during the manufacturing process. This role involves using a hand roller mounted on a 4–6-foot pole to evenly roll resin and materials, eliminating air pockets and ensuring full adhesion as materials are sprayed or layered onto the pool surface. The Laminator also trims and removes excess material to maintain specified tolerances and product quality. This position requires sustainedattention, coordination, and the ability to work quickly and efficiently to keep pace with continuously applied materials Some of What You Will Do:Roll fiberglass and resin composite materials to required specifications and quality standards, ensuring proper saturation and air removal Properly use a MIL gauge to verify material thickness and ensure compliance with production requirements Trim pool copings and excess materials to specified dimensionsGather and stage all materials required for shell production Place reinforcements and core materials in designated locations per design and process requirements Inspect and prepare parts prior to layup to ensure surfaces meet quality standards Lay woven mat and core materials accurately and efficientlyComplete required quality assurance forms and production documentation Read, understand, and follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Train and assist other employees in proper rolling, mat‑laying, and laminating techniques as assigned Consistently wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety, health, and environmental protocols.What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications) Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal instructions, including work orders, SOPs, and safety documentation Flexibility to accommodate production schedule changes, overtime, and shifting priorities as required by manufacturing demandsPhysical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials weighing up to 40 pounds Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods throughout the work shift.
