About the Role
The Company is in search of a President and Chief Executive Officer to guide the organization through a pivotal phase for local broadcast media.
This senior leadership position is pivotal in driving advocacy, ensuring revenue stability, and fostering strong member engagement.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Board of Directors to uphold the association's effectiveness, credibility, and financial sustainability, all while navigating the evolving media and regulatory landscape.
Key responsibilities include serving as the lead advocate at both state and federal levels, overseeing non-dues revenue generation, and leading the day-to-day operations and financial management of the organization.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the broadcast industry, including its business models, regulatory environment, and local station operations.
Experience in legislative or regulatory advocacy, strong business and revenue acumen, and a proven track record of working effectively with diverse stakeholder groups are essential.
The role demands a leader with high integrity, strong judgment, and a collaborative style, capable of balancing the need for continuity with the evolution of programs and operations.
