About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP of Finance to join their executive leadership team.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in building a scalable financial infrastructure, leading the transition to accrual accounting under US GAAP, and preparing the company for its first external audit.
This role is pivotal in driving financial strategy, leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling, and supporting M&A activities.
The VP of Finance will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining internal controls, and accounting policies, and ensuring financial transparency across the organization.
Applicants for the VP of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA being preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, particularly in construction, roofing, or related industries, is required.
The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in transitioning to accrual accounting, leading audits, and a strong understanding of job costing, WIP schedules, and revenue recognition.
Experience in high-growth environments, including M&A or private equity-backed companies, is a plus.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, and a hands-on, collaborative approach, and be capable of building and mentoring a high-performing finance and accounting team.
