Accounting Associate

This role plays a key part in ensuring timely billing, cash flow accuracy, and smooth day-to-day office operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling both accounting and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.What You'll Do:
Process accounts receivable transactions and maintain accurate financial records Assist with invoicing, payment tracking, and customer account reconciliation Support month-end closing activities, including preparation of statements and reports Review financial data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies as neededSupport daily office operations, including answering phones and assisting visitors Maintain organized records, files, and documentation Assist with scheduling, communication, and coordination across departments Provide general administrative support as needed Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teamsRespond to inquiries related to billing, payments, and account status Support a high level of customer service and issue resolution Utilize accounting and business systems to track financial data and transactions Operate standard office equipment and maintain system accuracy Assist in improving processes to increase efficiency and accuracyMaintain confidentiality of financial and company information Follow company policies, procedures, and internal controls Identify and report any discrepancies or concerns Perform additional duties as assigned What You'll Bring:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of accounts receivable processes Good organizational and time management skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar business toolsExperience in accounting, accounts receivable, or administrative roles Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems Experience in distribution, construction, or similar industries Basic understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation processes Primarily office-based work environment Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periodsAbility to occasionally lift light materials (typically under 25 lbs) Interaction with employees, customers, and vendors Ability to work extended hours during peak periods (e.g., month-end) if required What You'll Earn:
