Senior Accountant

– Empire Workforce Solutions, a national staffing firm, seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Ontario, CA.

As a Senior Accountant, you will earn $85,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on your experience. Plus, you will enjoy a competitive benefits package that includes: Medical and dental insurance. Paid vacation time off. Paid holidays and more.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing payroll tax filings and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Additionally, you will support various accounting functions, including: Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions and processing. Preparing monthly journal entries and maintaining supporting documentation.Reviewing and analyzing the general ledger for accuracy Assisting with cash receipts postings and reconciliations Supporting monthly close processes Managing intercompany accounts, transactions, and reconciliations

To qualify for this position, you must have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a senior accountant. We also require you to have: A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, accounting software, ERP systems, and other computer applications. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.The ability to maintain confidentiality of company information.
