Production Controller, California

PGS Worldwide is hiring a Production Controller to support inventory control operations at one of the most innovative aerospace facilities in the country. This is a great opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented professional looking to grow their career in production and materials control within a high-tech, fast-paced environment. This is an initial TIME contract-to-hire opportunity, and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.

Job Description:

Track and maintain schedules for material availability and production control needs

Log inventory transactions and compile records on materials received, shipped, or in production

Expedite materials and parts between departments to meet production schedules

Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and production teams to resolve material issues

Monitor and resolve inventory shortages or discrepancies proactively

Estimate and track production rates, lead times, and time expenditures

Provide support for off-Friday or weekend shifts as needed

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent

Experience with ERP systems such as Deltek Costpoint

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Ability to operate forklifts or other inventory-handling equipment

Strong communication and time-management skills

US Citizenship

Desired:

Experience with Kitting or production staging

Prior experience in a manufacturing or inventory control environment

Ability to coordinate between manufacturing and warehouse teams

Clear verbal and written communication skills
