/ppCCLI is looking for a full time onsite bookkeeper with a generous heart and a desire to contribute to the well-being of others to carry out our mission on Long Island.

/ppResponsibilities:/pulliPrepare and submit monthly claims by compiling payroll, fringe and other data for submission to funder.
/liliReview and process expense reports.
/liliEnter invoices into accounting system on a timely basis.
Review for accuracy and include supportive documentation (bills, invoices, petty cash slips).
Ensure documents are signed.
/liliPrepare cash receipts and general ledger entries to support accurate month-end closings.
/liliCommunicate with staff and funding sources in a professional manner.
/li/ulpQualifications:/pulliHS diploma/GED;/lili1-2 years of relevant work experience including understanding of debits and credits;/liliExcel competency including working with basic formulas.
Experience with accounting software is/liliStrong communication, time management and organizational skills, with follow-up and recordkeeping;/liliAbility to perform effectively in a multi-priority, deadline environment.
/li/ulpSchedule: 35 hours per week - 9AM 5PM Monday Friday/ppRate of Pay: $25/hour/ppThis rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate.
Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidates qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location.
The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation, such as the value of benefits, which may be applicable to this position.
