/ph3Position Overview/h3pThe Warehouse Cherry Picker/Receiver plays a critical role in day-to-day warehouse and operations activities, with cherry picking as the primary responsibility.
This position ensures all projects and tasks are performed to company standards, working closely with the Tile Warehouse Manager to support the efficient flow of materials, safe delivery, and continuous improvement of warehouse operations.
/ph3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliPerform cherry picking as the core function of this role, accurately selecting and compiling customer orders.
/lili3+ years of experience operating cherry picker (order picker) equipment in a warehouse or distribution environment.
/liliDemonstrated ability to pick items from high-level shelving using elevated lift equipment.
/liliLead by example and ensure all work aligns with company standards.
/liliCollaborate daily with the Tile Warehouse Manager.
/liliLoad and unload inbound/outbound trucks promptly.
/liliOrganize and store materials in designated locations.
/liliCommunicate any discovered or suspected material damage or inventory issues to the Tile Warehouse Manager.
/liliWrap and band pallets for safe delivery.
/liliAssist with customer pickups, ensuring materials are safely loaded into residential vehicles.
/liliWork with coworkers to move large or awkward boxes and pieces.
/liliParticipate in the container receipt process, including physical unloading and system inputs.
/liliSupport the operations team on projects that improve and advance overall operations.
/liliMaintain a safe and clean work area.
/li/ulpExperience Qualifications/pulliAvailability to work Monday Friday, 7:30 am 5:00 pm, and Saturdays as needed.
/liliAbility to lift and move heavy boxes ***** lbs) regularly.
/liliAt least 1 year of experience operating forklifts and reach machines.
/liliReliable transportation to and from work.
/liliAbility to stand for long periods.
/liliTurret Truck experience preferred.
