Job Summary

We are seeking a Talent Program Specialist for a direct hire opportunity in Melbourne, FL. This role is ideal for a human resources professional who is passionate about talent development, performance management, employee engagement, and building programs that help people grow.

The Talent Program Specialist will help design, implement, and manage high-impact talent initiatives that support leadership development, succession planning, career pathing, recognition, and employee performance. This is a highly collaborative role working with HR, business leaders, operations, marketing, finance, and external vendors to align talent strategies with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, execute, and support talent programs that improve employee engagement, recognition, leadership development, and career growth.
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, reporting, analytics, and process improvements.
- Help develop career pathing strategies, competency frameworks, high-potential programs, talent reviews, and succession planning initiatives.
- Analyze talent program data, build dashboards, and provide insights related to retention, productivity, performance, and engagement.
- Coordinate employee and leadership development initiatives, including facilitation support, program logistics, vendor management, and communication planning.
- Partner cross-functionally with HR, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and business leaders to ensure talent programs are consistent, effective, and aligned with organizational needs.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $75,000 to $90,000 per year.
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Location: Melbourne, FL.
- Hybrid schedule available for candidates based in Melbourne, FL.
- Highly qualified candidates outside the area may be considered for remote work.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Design and support talent programs focused on performance management, career development, leadership growth, and employee engagement.
- Analyze program data, create dashboards, and deliver actionable insights to support business decisions.
- Coordinate talent reviews, succession planning activities, recognition programs, and employee development initiatives.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to manage program execution, logistics, communications, and reporting.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- 3 or more years of experience supporting talent initiatives such as performance management, succession planning, career development, employee engagement, or leadership development.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis.
- Proficiency with HR systems and related tools.
- Experience interpreting talent, engagement, or performance data and translating findings into practical recommendations.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills with the ability to engage employees and leaders at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across HR, operations, finance, marketing, leadership, and vendor partners.
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and judgment when handling sensitive employee and organizational information.
- Knowledge of trends in employee engagement, recognition, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with SurveyMonkey, UKG, Absorb, or Nectar.
- Experience supporting annual employee engagement surveys.
- Experience developing competency frameworks, career pathing tools, leadership development programs, or high-potential employee programs.
- Experience in a multi-site, national, field service, business services, or distributed workforce environment.
