Job Summary Our ideal Ticket Sales Representatives have a passion for helping people and making their vacation experience a memorable one. A sincere love of history and the culture of our city is required. Effectively sell the appropriate tour package to the guest based on the knowledge of our products, pricing and the content of all ticket packages in order to meet your sales goals.Employee Benefits Competitive pay and paid training: $13 per hour + commission (average of $17 per hour with the commission included) All FT Employees are eligible for 2 weeks of paid vacation time as well as company sponsored health and wellness plans All FT, PT and Seasonal employees are eligible for: paid sick time, 401K plan with company matching*, fun and upbeat work environment with various award and recognition celebrations throughout the year, FREE First Stop Health - 24 hr. access to doctor by phone or computer for employee and their dependents (Employer pays 100%), discounts in retail stores, and FREE admission to all company attractionsOperating tours, attractions and retail in Boston, Key West, Nashville, San Diego, St. Augustine, Savannah, San Antonio, and Washington, DC since 1980! Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Accurately handle monies and receipts from sales, verify and balance cash drawer, secure and maintain ticket inventory and company assets Ability to work independently over long periods of time within the scope of established rules and regulations to satisfy the needs of our guestsAbility to handle stressful situations and difficult people while maintaining a professional and pleasant demeanor Ability to read, write and speak fluent English in order to communicate with fellow CASTmembers and the general public Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidaysQualifications High school graduate or equivalent preferred Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record for the past three years, if required to drive while on duty
