Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact by supporting students ages 5-22 as an Occupational Therapist in a contract role tailored to both Extended School Year (ESY) and Normal School Year (NSY) services. This position begins June 15th, 2026, and offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Your expertise will help students develop essential life and academic skills to succeed in their educational journey.Qualifications&Experience: Valid Occupational Therapy license or eligibility to practice in California. Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred. Comfort and proven skill in working with students exhibiting severe behaviors. Strong collaboration skills for working alongside educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct OT services, assessments, and interventions for students with varying needs across ESY and NSY schedules.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals focusing on functional and academic skills. Support students with severe behaviors using positive, evidence-based strategies. Collaborate with educational staff and families to promote carryover of skills across environments. Document progress, maintain compliance with district and state regulations, and participate in IEP meetings.Adapt materials and modify environments to enhance student access and participation.
