Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance operations at a residential community in the Las Vegas area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a blend of hands-on technical work and team leadership. You will guide the maintenance team, oversee property upkeep, and ensure residents receive a safe, well maintained, and high quality living experience.

This position includes participation in a rotating on call schedule for afterhours emergencies.

Key Responsibilities Lead, train, and supervise the onsite maintenance team Assign work orders, manage daily schedules, and conduct performance reviews Foster a professional, team oriented environment Perform advanced hands-on maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry Ensure all work meets high quality and safety standardsManage the work order system from start to finish Coordinate and inspect the work of outside vendors Oversee the make ready process to ensure timely unit turnovers Assist with maintenance budget planning and cost control Maintain inventory and order supplies and parts as needed Conduct routine property inspections and address issues proactivelySupport resident satisfaction by responding to maintenance needs promptly Qualifications

Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently Two to three years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role in a residential property setting Experience supervising one or more employees Advanced hands-on knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems EPA Universal CertificationHVAC Certification required for Nevada Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to participate in a rotating on call schedule General computer skills for managing work orders and reporting Additional Requirements for Higher Levels

Experience managing larger properties ranging from 200 to more than 750 units Experience supervising larger maintenance teams Who Thrives in This Role
