Maintenance Technician - Solon, OH - JOB (phone number removed)

Pay Range: $30.00 - $35.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits.

A metal stamping company is seeking to hire a Maintenance Technician to repair equipment and machinery.

REQUIREMENTS

7 or more years' experience doing maintenance preferably in an industrial setting.

Must have mechanical and electrical experience and able to perform preventive maintenance of equipment and machinery.

Experience working in a heavy industrial, high-volume manufacturing environment.

Must have a good understanding of hydraulics.

Press room experience is a must and have experienced working large metal stamping machinery.

Some facility maintenance is necessary.

Experience working in a lean environment and maintaining 5S programs.

Mechanical shop skills with lathes, mills, welders, saws, grinders, and power tools are a must.

Must have own tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement maintenance procedures.

Inspect the facility and resolve issues.

Check electrical and hydraulic systems of equipment.

Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities of capital equipment.

Comply with health and safety policies.

Maintain report of work performed / completed.

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
