Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate clinical support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist physicians and nursing staff with patient care in a respectful, efficient, and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the care, examination, and treatment of patients under the supervision of a physician or nurse.

Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies for procedures.

Provide patient and family support, and report any changes in patient condition to the charge nurse.

Obtain and record vital signs, including blood pressure, height, weight, EKGs, and lab specimens.

Set up, clean, and disinfect examination rooms; replenish supplies as needed.

Clean assigned work areas and assist team members as necessary.

Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Follow all clinical protocols and facility guidelines related to patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:

At least six months of supervised clinical experience within the last two years in the relevant specialty.

Two above-average clinical references from supervisors or charge personnel.

Completed clinical skill competency checklist for area of specialty.

Proficiency test score of 80% or higher.

Current BCLS certification (or appropriate cardiac life support certification as required).

Current health clearance, including:

Hepatitis B documentation

Negative Tuberculin test or chest X-ray
