Maintenance Technician, Ohio

Banyan Living is a dynamic and growing company that specializes in the ownership and operation of luxury apartment homes in the greater Cleveland and Columbus metropolitan areas. We are currently searching for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team.

As a Maintenance Technician at Banyan Living, you will be responsible for ensuring that our apartment communities are maintained to the highest standards. You will perform a variety of maintenance tasks including repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance to maintain a safe and enjoyable living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of property and facilities.

Respond to maintenance requests from residents in a timely manner.

Perform routine and emergency repairs including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.

Assist in preparing units for new residents and ensuring they meet company standards.

Keep maintenance logs and inventory of supplies and equipment.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.

Maintain grounds and assist with landscaping as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

1-3 years of maintenance experience preferred.

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required.
