Position Overview
Kendal at Oberlin's Nursing Department
is currently seeking dynamic, compassionate
Care Partners (STNAs)
for full-time nights: 7 pm–7:30 am.
The Care Partner provides residents high-quality, person-centered care by delivering physical and psycho-social support as a member of the interdisciplinary team working closely with residents, families and staff.
The Care Partner assists in creating an engaging therapeutic living environment for those with cognitive impairment.
Additionally, the role will be responsible for:
Recognizing and respecting residents' abilities and promoting their individuality while maintaining the standards of the Kendal Corporation philosophy of care.
Supporting residents in doing as much for themselves as possible.
Providing confident, efficient, and complete care as outlined in each resident's individual care plan.
Supporting residents, friends, families, and staff with a friendly and caring approach.
Qualifications and Experience
Successful completion of an approved nursing assistant program and state of Ohio exam.
Must have an STNA license in good standing.
Must be able to bend, stoop, push, pull, lift, and transfer residents weighing 50 to 250 pounds.
Must be able to communicate clearly with residents.
Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required).
