Description
Transportation Coordinator

This role supports daily transportation operations by coordinating freight movement, scheduling deliveries, tracing loads and communicating with drivers and customers to ensure on-time performance and issue resolution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized and comfortable making real-time decisions in a fast-paced logistics environment.Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and assign loads to ensure on-time pick-up and delivery Enter and update customer orders in the system with accuracy Trace and monitor shipments to prevent delays Communicate with drivers regarding dispatch instructions and issues Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding delays, accessorials and schedulingPrepare tracking and performance reports Monitor equipment usage and coordinate repairs as needed Collaborate with internal teams (Dispatch, Revenue, Operations) to resolve issues and maintain customer satisfaction Qualifications: Intermodal transportation or import/export experience preferredAssociate's degree or equivalent experience Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Proficient with computer systems and data entry Ability to multi-task and work independently Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours as needed Key Details: Location: Onsite
