Maintenance Technician, Westlake

We are seeking an experienced Electrical-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support production by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment. This role plays a key part in improving equipment reliability, supporting safety initiatives, and mentoring other maintenance team members. Essential Duties&Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on all production equipment Improve machinery efficiency and reliability through established PM programs Ensure maintenance team productivity and proactive support of production Enforce inventory control systems and maintenance best practices Maintain general maintenance housekeeping standards Assist Engineering with major projects and machine overhauls Support and follow all safety programs, including Lockout/Tagout procedures Ensure equipment safety devices are operational Respond to after-hours emergency calls for machine breakdowns Observe and comply with all good working practices Knowledge, Skills&Abilities Two-year technical degree or 5+ years of Electrical-Mechanical Technician experience Strong leadership, organizational, and motivational skills Advanced electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities Experience with machine modifications and rebuilds Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills Understanding of PLCs and ladder logic Basic computer skills Flexible schedule with ability to work overtime, weekends, and other shifts as needed Ability to obtain Forklift and Scissor Lift certification High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to pass a pre-employment screening Salary: $20-$30 Shift: 3rd with training on 1st (OT as needed) Location: Westlake, OH Contract through September 2026 Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
