Job Description:

The Gage Lab Tech ensures precision in measuring instruments, certifies equipment like CMM and Super Micrometers, coordinates repairs, and actively participates in ISO9001 and Corporate Gage System for accurate record-keeping.

Shift Times and Pay: 1st Shift: Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:30pm, $21.98/hr 2nd Shift: Mon-Fri 2:30pm-11:00pm, $25.62/hr 3rd Shift: Sun-Thurs 10:30pm-7:00am, $25.62/hr *Train on 1st shift, 6:30AM-3PM, for approximately 8 weeks

Job Requirements:

Hand-on experience with gage checking, repair and certification CNC machining background Ability to interpret part features to gage readings and gage readings to gage features Knowledge and use of surface plate layout and the ability to perform trigonometric calculations to determine dimensions that are not called out on the printRepair and troubleshooting require mechanical aptitude and ability Good communication skills are essential to performing this job function Above average keyboard and computer skills The incumbent must be able to work in a team environment, receptive to change and have good organizational skills.
