Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the plant operations team. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Location: Brook Park, OH Pay Range: $27.50 Shift: 4th shift is Thursday thru Sunday, 6a

4:30p What's the Job? Install and troubleshoot industrial machine control systems including 3-wire and PLC controls. Install, repair, and diagnose both AC&DC motors, single and three-phase power systems up to 480 volts. Maintain mechanical power transmission drives and related systems such as gearboxes, chains, sprockets, belts, and pulleys, as well as pneumatic equipment like compressors, blowers, and valves. Support the plant's preventive maintenance system and apply industrial lubricants as needed.Assist with the setup, change-over, and disassembly of breader mills, scalper, and sifter equipment, ensuring smooth production flow. What's Needed? Ability to operate a forklift and lift up to 75 pounds. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools, test equipment, and troubleshooting techniques. Willingness to follow safety procedures and company policies diligently.Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. No prior experience required; training will be provided.
