Responsibilities

Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings

Draft and file bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and other forms

Attend court hearings with clients

Advise clients on bankruptcy laws and their rights

Negotiate with creditors on behalf of clients

Conduct research on bankruptcy and financial law

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders

Requirements

Active license to practice law in the state

Minimum of [3] years of experience in bankruptcy law

Knowledge of federal bankruptcy laws, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13
