Job Summary:
A respected full-service law firm is recruiting for an experienced Human Resources Manager for its New Jersey office.
This is a firmwide role with meaningful responsibility and visibility.

The Human Resources Manager will support firmwide HR initiatives, oversee daily operations, and play a key role in recruiting, employee relations, policy development, and compliance.
What You'll Do:
Evaluate and recommend improvements to HR policies, procedures, and practices
Manage recruiting, hiring, onboarding, development, and retention programs
Assess staffing needs and oversee non-exempt administrative and clerical staff
Handle employee relations matters and assist with conflict resolution
Ensure compliance with leave policies and applicable state and federal regulations
Coordinate benefits administration, including 401(k)/profit-sharing plans
Maintain and update job descriptions and position specifications
Assist with reporting, financial analysis, and integration of new attorneys
What They're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field (or equivalent experience)
4+ years of progressive HR experience in a law firm or professional services environment
Law firm experience strongly preferred; SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR a plus
Strong understanding of HR compliance, employee relations, and staffing models
Excellent communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems
