Java Architect
Location: New York / New Jersey (Hybrid preferred: 3 days in-office) Duration: long term Rate: DOE U.S. Citizens and those who are authorized to work independently in the United States are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time Requirements:
10 + Experience Proven experience in software architecture design and implementation. Expertise in designing and implementing software networks. Proficient in software design and web programming. High-level project management skills. Strong problem-solving abilities for complex software system issues.Familiarity with Agile methodologies is preferred. Strong communication skills. Must have prior experience in the Travel (Airline) and Hospitality domain. Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers and the offshore team. Align offshore teams with project deliverables and timelines. Lead customer demo sessions and client discussions to present solutions. Collaborate with the onsite tech lead and VP to plan the project roadmap, release timelines, and sprint goals.Conduct impact analysis and design system architectures for proposed changes.
