Electrical Engineer, Paterson

Basic Qualifications :
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree.

 

Clearance Requirements:

Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position:
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

Sign-on bonus available up to $5,000, depending on qualifications.

 

As an electrical engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for design, integration, and test. Our customers approach us to solve their most demanding problems, and most of our projects require a considerable amount of creative thinking and a willingness to develop new solutions and take measured risks. As an engineer on our team, you would have the opportunity to gain broad electrical design experience and gain mentorship from others with decades of background in multiple technical disciplines.

 

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:

Analog and mixed-signal circuit analysis, including Hyperlynx (PI and SI) and LTSpice

High-voltage regulator design and associated design rules

Digital backplane design (e.g., 3U VPX) in compliance with VITA / SOSA specifications

Proficient in electrical engineering circuit card design and mixed Signal circuit analysis

Habitually ahead of technology trends, with background in test, troubleshooting
