Payroll Specialist (Temp-to-Perm) Immediate Start
A growing organization in the Waldwick, NJ area is seeking a Payroll Specialist for an immediate, on-site opportunity.
This role will offer a strong potential to convert to a permanent position based on performance, as the team is planning to expand.
Key Responsibilities:
Process weekly payroll for ~200 employees across two tax IDs
Ensure accurate allocation of payroll to appropriate cost and project codes
Maintain payroll records with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and compliance
Address and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner
Qualifications:
Prior payroll experience required (weekly payroll preferred)
Experience in construction or job costing environments is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable, dependable, and able to meet deadlines
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Additional Details:
Will train on industry specific software
Immediate start
Competitive compensation with conversion salary range of $65,000 $85,000 upon permanent hire
