divh2Front Desk Representative/h2pThe Front Desk Representative is the first line of contact for members and guests. They deliver the Ultimate Service Promise by providing superior customer service while assisting members with purchases and directing membership inquiries./ph3Essential Duties
Responsibilities:/h3pFront Desk Customer Service:/pulliWarmly greets members and guests as they enter and leave the club./liliAnswers incoming calls in a professional and efficient manner and transfers phone calls promptly and to the right department or individuals./liliChecks in members and verifies membership; signs up members for group fit or ultimate classes./liliRegisters prospective members and directs them to the membership department./liliAddresses members questions or direct them to the appropriate individual for better assistance./liliSells supplements, apparel and other UFC GYM retail items to members./liliRings up purchases on the POS system and provides accurate change./liliMaintains a professional image and behavior at all times- avoids eating, sitting, reading, internet surfing, using a personal cell phone or other activities which are not work related./liliResponds professionally to requests and inquiries from guests, members, and staff./liliProvides information to members regarding special club events./liliImmediately reports or escalates to management any unsafe conditions or emergency situations./li/ulpAdministrative:/pulliKeeps front desk and lobby neat and clean at all times./liliPerforms opening and closing procedures for the front desk, as assigned./liliAttends monthly meetings or other scheduled meetings./liliAssist with inventory or product pricing, as needed./liliCalls all past due members regarding late dues and down payments./li/ulh3Organization Relationships:/h3pThe Front Desk Representative reports to the Front Desk Lead and Operations Manager. This position may interact with all levels of management and staff within Corporate and Field offices, in the clubs, and within the Front Desk Representative team./ph3Required Qualifications:/h3p1) Knowledge, skills
abilities:/pulliMust be energetic and possess a very friendly, outgoing personality and positive attitude/liliPossess strong interpersonal and communication skills, including telephone etiquette/liliPossess a strong customer service focus/liliUnderstands and follows oral and written instructions/liliAble to multi-task and perform tasks with accuracy and attention to detail/liliMust be a team player and possess a can-do attitude/liliAdhere to meal and rest break periods and must clock in and out for all shift times/li/ulp2) Minimum certifications/educational level:/polliHigh school diploma or GED required./liliCurrent CPR/AED certification/li/olp3) Minimum experience:/polliMust have 6 months customer service experience in health club, retail, hospitality or food service industry/liliExperience with multiple phone lines preferred/liliBasic computer skills/li/olp4) Physical Requirements:/pulliRequired to stand, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl/liliOccasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds/liliAbility to stand and remain on your feet for a full shift/li/ulpThis position description intends to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
