Job Description EMPLOYER:

POSITION TITLE:

Landscaping Supervisor

POSITION DUTIES:

Engage in year-round supervision and oversight of workers engaged in landscape, outdoor living design/build construction, irrigation, and snow removal projects by doing the following: engage in daily supervision of teams of 6-9 subordinate landscape laborers; ensure timely completion of project requirements; direct and organize the daily tasks of laborers; inspect completed work to ensure conformance to requirements; ensure adherence to company policies; operate equipment (skid steers and/or mini excavators) and ensures safety of equipment and tool usage; reviews project plans and prepares estimates using Microsoft Word and Excel; communicate with property owners through Microsoft Outlook; mentor and coach subordinates; approve time and hours for payroll and review Excel spreadsheets; load and unload material and equipment; operate company vehicle to worksite. Engage in short-term travel to unanticipated client sites in Morris, Essex, Hunterdon, Somerset, Sussex and Warren counties.

REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires at least two (2) years of experience in landscaping (any title). Must possess or be eligible for a U.S. Driver’s License in any state. Engage in short-term travel to unanticipated client sites in Morris, Essex, Hunterdon, Somerset, Sussex and Warren counties.

RATE OF PAY:

$35.82 / hour
