Job Title: Network Test Engineer

Duration: 1+ Years Contract

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Network Test Engineer with a specialized focus on video streaming technologies over cellular networks. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of networking protocols, video transmission, and performance analysis in connected systems. This is an onsite role that requires strong hands-on testing and development skills, particularly in TCP/UDP, Wireshark, and C++. This role will not involve CAN bus or control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage requirements and test plans for connectivity systems.

Execute validation and verification (V&V) of connectivity and video streaming subsystems.

Analyze and test video streaming performance over cellular and IP-based networks (TCP/UDP).

Use Wireshark and other tools to conduct network traffic analysis and troubleshoot issues.

Integrate and test video streaming solutions within existing cellular network infrastructure.

Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems teams to support cross-functional projects.

Design and implement improvements in video transmission quality and reliability.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of C++-based software for networking components.

Required Qualifications:

Strong hands-on experience with video streaming technologies and video testing.

Proficiency with cellular network concepts (e.g., LTE, 5G).

Deep knowledge of TCP/IP and UDP protocols.

Proficiency in Wireshark for network capture and analysis.

Experience with network debugging, performance testing, and validation.

Working knowledge of C++ development.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with network design and infrastructure planning.

Familiarity with Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, and other modern connectivity technologies.

Strong problem-solving aptitude and analytical skills.

Experience in requirements development and management.

Ability to communicate and document technical issues clearly and effectively.

Nice to Have:

Exposure to RTSP, HLS, or other video streaming protocols.

Experience with cloud-connected video systems.

Familiarity with Linux networking and tools.

Note:

This role specifically excludes experience centered on CAN bus and control systems. The focus is strictly on networking, video streaming, and connectivity testing.
