Electrical Engineer, Illinois

Job Description:

Pay Range: $50hr - $55hr

Electrical Background:

Strong understanding of medium voltage systems, switchgear, transformers, and rectifiers.

Experience with power electronics, particularly in the context of medium to high voltage systems.

Functional Safety:

Knowledge of functional safety standards and practices related to medium voltage systems.

System Understanding:

Ability to understand system-level operations, safety implications, and commissioning processes.

EMC Standards:

Familiarity with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and standards.

Data Acquisition Tools:

Basic knowledge of data acquisition tools for supporting testing.

Additional Considerations:

Education: A Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years of experience.

Candidates with an associate degree and 10+ years of relevant experience may also be considered.

Experience: Relevant industrial experience, particularly in power generation, switchgear, and medium voltage systems.
