Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

Contract Duration: 12+ Months

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to support component testing and development for high-power, high-reliability electric drive applications. This hands-on role involves test planning, execution, data analysis, and reporting. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal and global engineering teams, including partners in India and China, and provide technical support across electrical, mechanical, and quality domains.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, execute, and document tests on high voltage, high current, and high temperature components (e.g., current sensors, DC link capacitors, PCBs, power modules).

Develop and review test plans and procedures, including fixture design, instrumentation, data collection, and failure analysis.

Analyze test data using tools such as MATLAB, Python, and Excel, and prepare detailed technical reports.

Collaborate with global teams for design reviews, engineering drawing assessments, and technical documentation.

Perform supplier development activities, including occasional site visits.

Utilize quality tools such as FMEA, APQP, and PPAP to ensure compliance and performance.

Technical Requirements:

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience.

Proven hands-on experience testing components for high-power electric drive systems.

Proficient in using dataloggers, oscilloscopes, high-voltage probes, current transducers, thermal chambers, and power supplies (HV and HC).

Capable of performing failure analysis and test result summarization.

Preferred:

Experience working across multiple engineering disciplines (electrical, mechanical, quality, thermal simulation, etc.).

Familiarity with Python, MATLAB, and Excel for data processing.

Experience with double-pulse testing of power modules.

Ability to propose and implement test method improvements.

Estimation of time and resources for testing tasks.

Soft Skills:

Required:

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Preferred:

Experience collaborating with international teams (India, China, Europe).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment:

Office and laboratory setting.
