About the Role:

We're looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team at a major tech center in Mossville, IL. This team is responsible for general facility electrical maintenance as well as the design and development of custom test cells used by various engineering groups for engine and component testing.

This role offers broad exposure across multiple internal teams, making it a great launching pad for long-term growth within the organization.

What You'll Do:

Support facility electrical documentation by developing and maintaining electrical schematics for testing operations (low to medium voltage).

Design test cell electrical systems, including wiring, controls, and support stands for components under test.

Use CAD tools (AutoCAD preferred) to model and document facility schematics and wiring diagrams for current and future use.

Create wiring schematics for facility systems and PLC control systems.

Assist with PLC programming and controls integration as needed.

Collaborate closely with multiple engineering groups to customize test cells for a variety of projects.

Maintain and update standardized drawings and documentation for reusability in future tests.

Must-Have Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE).

2 4 years of relevant hands-on experience in electrical design.

Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD (CREO is a plus).

Experience creating wiring schematics for facilities and PLC controls wiring.

Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting.

A hands-on mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and eagerness to learn.

Work Environment:

Onsite presence ~90% of the time due to the hands-on nature of the role.

Flexible scheduling, but not considered a hybrid/remote position.

Collaborative and ever-evolving work with high visibility across multiple engineering teams.
