Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join Artie Morris's team in TC-G at our Tech Center in Mossville, IL. This team is responsible for general facility maintenance and the design of test cells used by various teams to test components. The role involves creating electrical wiring schematics, designing test apparatus, and documenting building electrical systems. This is a dynamic position with exposure to multiple internal teams, providing excellent career growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and document electrical schematics for facility wiring and PLC control systems.

Design electrical wiring, stands, and apparatus for test cells used in engine and component testing.

Develop standardized electrical schematics for test setups and modify them for future applications.

Perform CAD modeling of electrical systems using AutoCAD (CREO experience is a plus).

Support facility maintenance and electrical infrastructure improvements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective test cell design and implementation.

Assist with PLC programming and troubleshooting as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE).

3+ years of relevant experience (or strong internships for new graduates).

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring schematics, and facility controls.

Proficiency in CAD modeling (AutoCAD required; CREO is a plus).

Hands-on approach with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing work environments.

Experience creating wiring schematics for facility wiring and PLC controls.

Basic knowledge and experience with PLC programming.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with test cells and electrical test apparatus.

Prior experience in an R&D or testing environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
