Job Title: Test Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on, mechanically inclined Test Engineer to support our fuel systems testing initiatives at the Tech Center in Mossville. This role involves bench testing, data analysis, and mechanical work related to engine and fuel system components. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and take ownership of critical test activities to enable faster innovation and product development.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform bench testing on fuel systems and related components.

Analyze test data and report findings to the engineering team.

Assemble, configure, and maintain test benches and instrumentation.

Interpret and work with technical design prints (ProE familiarity a plus).

Perform mechanical work related to the setup and teardown of fuel systems.

Communicate findings clearly, both in written and verbal form.

Make independent decisions and manage day-to-day test operations with minimal supervision.

Support senior engineers by taking over hands-on test responsibilities to allow focus on advanced development tasks.

Required Skills and Experience:

Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in hands-on mechanical work.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Experience with engine testing, fuel systems, or automotive testing environments.

Ability to troubleshoot issues, apply critical thinking, and solve technical problems.

Familiarity with test data acquisition systems and reporting tools.

Comfortable interpreting design prints and engineering documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with ProE or other CAD software (not required but helpful).

Recent graduates with strong hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.

Prior experience in a lab, testing, or automotive/mechanical environment is a plus.
