Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
5+ years of experience
Responsibilities
Design wire harness and cable routings, support detailing, and check prints.
Design, development, and testing of the manufacture of electrical equipment, including machinery controls, wiring, and lighting
Create and manage symbol libraries, parametric data, and model templates to ensure consistency and compliance with engineering standards.
Generate documentation packages including BOM's, connector tables, wire/cable specs, and routing information.
Define and develop system-level electrical architecture, including power distribution, communication networks, grounding schemes, and hardware interfaces.
Lead and Conduct design reviews, verify schematic accuracy, and implement engineering changes through structured change control processes (e.g., ECOs/ECNs).
Lead circuit and system-level design activities, including load analysis, component selection, harness design strategy, and topology definition.
Ensure architecture aligns with safety, regulatory, EMC/EMI, and product performance requirements.
Collaborate with embedded software, controls, test, and manufacturing teams to validate system functionality and resolve integration issues.
Discuss estimates for time and cost to complete projects with clients
Collaboration with suppliers
Support, cost rollups, FMEA, TFCs, Supplier collaboration
Project-level coordination (liaison) and technical expertise
Manage interactions with the Electrical Integration team (offshore/onsite) as well as cross-functional engineering and product engineering teams
Manages task list, drives execution, priority, and reshuffle tasks to ensure optimized output for customers with efficient resources management
Provides expertise on site, collaboration on designs, decisions, and reviews with the Electrical Integration team
Checks, verifies, and approves all work to ensure quality of the output is consistent with commitments and customer expectations
Provides on-site hands-on assistance when needed including trips to machines for troubleshooting, testing, fit up, and build support
Participates in efforts to improve overall Electrical Integration team knowledge by sharing experiences and knowledge
